The Role

As an Information Systems Support Technician, you will provide technical assistance and maintenance for our IT systems.

Specifically, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of desktop PC hardware and software, providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting system faults.

Beyond this, you will support our GIS functions by managing spatial information, performing data quality checks, and creating maps and reports as required.

Additionally, you will:

- Conduct PAT testing to ensure equipment safety
- Manage stock levels of computer and peripheral consumables
- Deliver basic IT training to staff and members

About You

To be considered as an Information Systems Support Technician, you will need:

- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- A relevant degree or at least two years’ experience in information systems
- Experience with computer hardware, software, and general IT systems
- Experience of GIS and GPS systems
- A full, valid driving licence

Please note, you will be required to travel across our sites.
