The Role
As an Information Centre Assistant, you will provide an outstanding visitor experience at our Aberdyfi centre.
Providing support and advice to our visitors about the area, Eryri National Park, Wales and beyond, you will assist with enquiries while promoting local attractions and the special qualities the Park has to offer.
Contributing to all areas of the Centre, you will oversee retail activities, help with the maintenance and cleanliness of the site, and support our marketing initiatives too.
Additionally, you will:
- Book accommodation for visitors and maintain vacancy records
- Sell publications, gifts, and visitor activities
- Order stock, liaise with suppliers, and manage stock control
- Handle cash, card transactions, and banking securely
About You
To be considered as an Information Centre Assistant, you will need:
- The ability to speak Welsh and English fluently
- Local knowledge and an enthusiasm for the qualities of the National Park and the area
- Good knowledge of Welsh geography and attractions
The closing date for this role is 25th February 2025.
