About Us

We are Qualifications Wales, the independent organisation responsible for regulating general and vocational qualifications in Wales. We focus on publicly funded qualifications, including GCSEs, A-Levels and vocational qualifications.

We are now looking for an Editor / Copywriting Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As the Editor / Copywriting Manager, you will take responsibility for the editorial style, tone, voice and quality of our bilingual communications channels.

Specifically, you will lead the delivery of social media, website and publication content. You will copywrite and sub-edit content in Welsh and English, as well as supporting media relations, strategic communications, campaigns and content creation.

Deputising for the Head of Communications, you will help develop communications and content marketing strategies and lead on the editorial planning for externally published materials.

About You

To be considered as the Editor / Copywriting Manager, you will need:

- Experience in an editorial environment
- Experience of copywriting
- The ability to write copy translating technical issues into plain English/Welsh
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
