Community Worker (Part-Time)

Based in South Wrexham

The Presbyterian Church of Wales, North-East Presbytery is looking for a Christian pioneer with vision.

We plan to start new work around villages and towns in the south of Wrexham County. The aim is to enable Christian mission and promote Christian witness, primarily through the medium of the Welsh language in a bilingual context.

The Presbytery is open to discussions with individuals who have a clear calling regarding how this work should be carried out and how they can support it. They should be an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead this new work.

Job Details

Hours: 21 hours per week.
Contract: 3 years initially, with the first 6 months as a probationary period.
Salary: Band 31-35 (£32,150 - £34,043 pro rata) on the PCW salary scale.
Pension: Opportunity to join the PCW Pension Scheme.
Location: This role is based in the South Wrexham area and involves working from home.
 
Additional Information

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two satisfactory references.
A Christian and Welsh language vocational requirement applies to this role.
