Salary: £39,337 rising to £44,274 per annum. The starting salary will be £39,337 with progress through the salary range linked to successful completion of probation period and our performance review process.

About the role

Social Investment Cymru (SIC) is Wales’ foremost social investor, and has  recently been successful in securing the fund management contract for the voluntary sector element of Ambition North Wales’ Clean Energy Fund. You will have principal responsibility for successful delivery of this project.

As such, you will be very proactive in developing a pipeline of funding applications, building strong relationships across the six north Wales counties. The role will involve the interrogation of business plans and working with applicants to produce high quality lending proposals for presentation to an approval panel. 

Post approval you will guide the funding through to drawdown. Thereafter you will remain the ‘relationship manager’ for the organisation, monitoring performance in line with funding conditions. You will become a trusted sounding board and source of information on relevant matters within the sector both internally to WCVA and externally.

You will take the lead on any future clean energy funding developed by SIC and where required, support the rest of the team with other funding proposals.

This post has a 5-year funded delivery contract.
