St David’s Hospice, a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care in North West Wales, is seeking an inspiring Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into an exciting new chapter. With a dedicated team of over 180 employees and 400 volunteers, we deliver vital palliative and respite care to our communities.
As CEO, you will provide strategic leadership during a pivotal period, driving forward financial sustainability, operational excellence, and innovation. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and the Hospice Management Team, you’ll champion our mission and uphold our reputation for exceptional care.

Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

As CEO, you will provide strategic leadership during a pivotal period, driving forward financial sustainability, operational excellence, and innovation. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing a strategic plan to ensure long-term financial stability.
Leading a high-performing, compassionate team across clinical and non-clinical functions.
Engaging with stakeholders to strengthen relationships and increase community impact.
Representing the Hospice in the public eye, maintaining our trusted presence in the region.
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment.
Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A deep commitment to delivering compassionate care.
